I'm Bennie, and I'm looking for my new active, fun-loving family! I need action, adventure, and preferably another dog who's ready to run, wrestle, and play with me all day long ‍. I love people and I'm a world-class cuddler, snuggler, and kisser — forget about personal space, I'm all in! I'm not totally sure about cats... but if they run, I will chase . I'm a smart and curious guy, which means I can be a bit of a counter and table surfer — you'll have to outsmart me! I eat in my crate because I can be protective of my food around other dogs, and that setup works great for me . Since I'm a herding dog, I can be a little mouthy, especially when I'm excited, so lots of hard chew toys are a must . I thrive with consistent reinforcement training and people who enjoy working with a clever, energetic pup. My foster mom and dad are older, and while they love me, I'd really like a family who can keep up with my energy . Because I'm such a high-energy guy, I probably wouldn't be the best fit for a home with toddlers or small children.
