Cleo
AvailableCleo is a small, short-haired Chihuahua with white, cream, and black coloring, currently living in Woodstock, GA. She’s a 9-year and 4-month-old spayed female who is fully house trained and up to date on vaccinations. Cleo has some special needs due to her age and prior health issues, but she’s made significant progress and is looking for a loving forever home.
About Cleo
Cleo’s world changed when her person got too sick to care for her. Family made sure she landed safely with Act2Pups, and she’s slowly adjusted to her new normal. Cleo spent nearly five years glued to her favorite human’s side, often being hand-fed, and she put on quite a bit of weight during that time. Thanks to some dedication, she’s now under 10 pounds and truly feels better—her bouncy energy proves it. A dental that required ten extractions made a huge difference in her comfort too. When Cleo first arrived, stiffness in her back leg made walking tough, but weight loss and gentle activity have worked wonders. She’s gotten much better going out to potty, a skill she had to relearn. Cleo misses her old life and her person, but she’s ready for a new beginning with someone who’ll let her stay close and feel safe. She gets along with dogs and wants nothing more than a quiet lap to call her own. Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Cleo
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Chihuahuas like Cleo do well in apartments or houses, as long as they have a safe space and close companionship. They prefer cozy environments where they can build a strong bond with their humans.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Cleo and other Chihuahuas don’t need a big yard. Short daily walks or a small, secure outdoor area are enough. Most of their exercise comes from indoor play and one-on-one time.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Chihuahuas can live with gentle, older children, but due to their size and occasional fragility—especially for seniors like Cleo—a calm household is best. They thrive when treated gently and respectfully.
