Meet Marty, a sweet and adorable little guy looking for a loving home! At around a year old and weighing approximately 11 lbs, he’s ready to find his forever family. Marty has been through a few homes due to allergies and busy lifestyles, but he remains upbeat and hopeful that the third time will be the charm. He enjoys spending time with the volunteers and has a playful spirit. Marty has done well with other dogs during playdates at the shelter—if you have a dog at home, let’s set up a meet and greet! While he hasn't been around cats, his previous family felt he would do best without them. Marty hasn’t officially met children, but he clearly enjoyed the affection from kids in his former home. To ensure a gentle interaction, older kids around 10 years and up would be ideal. His personality shines when he feels safe, turning into a little firecracker who loves to cuddle and provide kisses. Marty is currently in training at Mostly Mutts University and has mastered several commands. While he is getting the hang of potty training, a little refresher in his new home will help him fully learn! He enjoys toys, soft beds, and curling up in laps, so a warm and cozy environment will be perfect for him. Marty is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for a new adventure.
