About Leila

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Layla is a stunning black Great Dane puppy with just a hint of cream on her short coat. At around 7–8 months old, she’s still learning about the world, but her gentle, goofy charm quickly comes out once she feels comfortable. Initially shy, Layla warms up to reveal a playful side, enjoying classic Dane zoomies, fun neck nibbles with her canine pals, and contentedly chomping on her favorite Nylabones. Layla thrives in the company of both small and large dogs and would be happiest with another large dog in the home, as she prefers to follow rather than lead. She’s curious, sometimes hesitant with new experiences, and leash walking is still a work in progress. While cats are an unknown variable—she’ll bark from afar but hasn’t interacted directly—she excels at being gentle and respectful in other ways. With the energy of a typical puppy, Layla can romp and play but also settles down beautifully, especially alongside her dog friends. She is crate trained, house trained, uses a doggy door, and demonstrates excellent food manners—no food aggression and sweet when taking treats. Free-fed and food motivated, she’s a quick study for training and already knows how to sit and give her paw. Layla is child-friendly and enjoys cuddling up on her bed next to her family at night, though her loud snores are legendary! This sweet girl still has some growing up to do and will blossom with patience, love, and structure. With the right support, Layla will make an extraordinary family companion, ready to fill a home with joy and laughter. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
