About Jazzy
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Jazzy is a 9-month-old Great Dane with an abundance of playful energy, living up to her reputation as a rambunctious puppy. While she loves to play and snuggle, she doesn't quite realize her size and might send you flying from a chair with a loving zoomie. Jazzy gets along well with small dogs, showing happy, playful behavior, but she's afraid of large dogs and hasn't socialized with them yet. Although she’s okay around kids, her exuberance makes her best suited for teens aged 14 or older. Jazzy is fearful of most men but has warmed up to a couple of gentle, patient male friends who let her set the pace. Escape artist should be Jazzy’s middle name—she can (and has) leapt six-foot fences and even made it onto a roof after escaping through an open window. Because of these skills, she is best suited for a foster-to-adopt home in a condo or somewhere with at least nine-foot-tall walls, and she should never be left unattended in a yard or near an unsecured screen or open window. Jazzy is house trained and would thrive in a quiet neighborhood, as busy downtown areas make her nervous. She’s searching for a patient, compassionate adopter who understands rescue dogs and is willing to take it slow. Her loving heart is ready for a safe and understanding home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Jazzy
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Great Danes thrive in spacious homes with plenty of room to stretch out, but they can adapt to apartment or condo living as long as their exercise needs are met. They do best in a calm, loving environment with consistent routines.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Great Danes appreciate a secure, moderately sized yard where they can play and stretch their legs. Supervised, outdoor exercise is important, but their large size means fences should be tall and secure.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Great Danes are known for being gentle giants and generally do well with children, especially when supervised. Their large size means they may accidentally knock over small children, so older kids are often a better match.
