About Theodore

This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet this gentle 2.5-year-old boy who’s searching for a calm, loving home. Theodore is a stunning orange-and-white Domestic Short Hair with a sweet, soft personality and a tender, affectionate nature. He can be shy when around energetic cats, so a quieter space or the company of mellow feline friends will help him feel most at ease. With people, however, he truly blossoms—he adores being petted, stays gentle throughout, and, once comfortable, will thank you with his happy purrs. Theodore is FIV-positive. While Feline Immunodeficiency Virus affects his immune system, many FIV+ cats live full, healthy lives with attentive care. The virus only spreads through deep bite wounds and is not transmitted through casual play or sharing spaces, so Theodore can happily live as a solo cat or with gentle, non-aggressive companions. FIV is harmless to humans or other non-feline animals, letting you welcome him into your family worry-free. He is hoping for a loving home where gentle affection and a peaceful atmosphere allow his true personality to shine, making him a purring, heartwarming companion. He is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, neutered, and microchipped, and receives regular flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Theodore has also tested negative for FeLV. You'll find him consistently using his litter box, and a gradual introduction to your home and any other pets is recommended to help him settle in. You'll go home with his medical records, microchip registration (with lifetime enrollment), adoption contract, and helpful resources on cat care and potential upper respiratory infections. Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll? Shelter info: Pawsitive Cause Non-Profit Animal Rescue 611 N Saginaw St, Holly, MI 48442 PawsitiveCauseMI@gmail.com | Fax: (248) 587-7622
