About Joker
Start your journey together! Apply now. Joker is an 11-month-old Rottweiler who has already endured much in his young life. Born with severe hip dysplasia, Joker’s hips do not align properly, leading to discomfort, limited motion, and muscle wasting. He underwent a Femoral Head Osteotomy—removal of the femoral head—to relieve his pain. Joker is now in the early phases of rehabilitation, receiving daily exercises, short walks, and weekly water therapy with his dedicated foster caregiver. Due to extensive muscle loss and his curved back, Joker needs ongoing physical therapy to strengthen his body and help him adapt to his new "false joint." While the hope is for Joker to build muscle and improve his mobility, there are no guarantees: he may always require special attention and be prone to orthopedic issues. Joker is best suited for a foster-to-adopt family committed to continuing his rehabilitation at home and supporting his progress every day. As a fun fact, Joker's birthday falls under Virgo, a sign known for its resilience and determination. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
