About London

London had a rough beginning, arriving in rescue with an umbilical hernia and a dangerous infection that required emergency surgery, but she has bounced back and is now thriving. In social settings, London tends to be nervous and reserved; however, at home she loosens up and reveals a playful, spirited side. She currently lives with kids, dogs, and cats in her foster home, but be aware she does not get along with cats. Her favorite thing by far is playing tug with her foster sisters, and she can go for hours. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and well-mannered with people—even when food is involved. Around other dogs, she does get a bit possessive at mealtime, so she should eat separately from canine housemates. London is a short-coated, black and white, medium-sized pit bull terrier mix, weighing about 30 pounds fully grown. One especially memorable quirk: her eyes are two different shades of brown. With her energy level, a fenced yard for her zoomies would be ideal, along with an active family ready for her playfulness. If you’re looking for a companion who thrives with structure and lots of activity, London’s ready for her next chapter. Your new best friend is just one click away.
