About Bishop

Everyone, meet Bishop! He is an almost 1-year-old Lab hound Mountain Cur mix with a beautiful, sweet, soft-natured personality, weighing about 50 pounds fully grown. He is friendly with dogs, cats, and people. Bishop is very much still a puppy and has a lot to catch up on, with so much to learn, experience, and enjoy. He is doing great. And training is going well. Bishop has plenty of active puppy energy and is curious about the world around him. But Not hyper just the perfect amount of energy. I would consider him medium energy. Bishop can easily settle dow-appreciating an indoor lazy day. Doing nothing but Bing watching Netflix endlessly, snuggling and cuddling 4ever. There's no end to snuggles and cuddles, not for Bishop, anyway. He is innocently beautiful and everything perfect, viewing life with a fun and games approach, and considers everyone a friend. He is a soft personality by nature. He is unsure in a timid way, but his curiosity and love for all always wins. When I think of Bishop, an adorable young male dog with a heartwarming backstory. He is an intelligent and curious pup with a gentle and playful personality. Bishop is a very affectionate dog, who is loyal to everyone he meets. Bishop loves to cuddle up on the couch comforting us humans after a long at work. He loves nothing more than to love and spend his days with his people, whether it's exploring the outdoors, chasing after sticks, and playing with his favorite humans and dog buddies or nesting on the sofa watching a movie in a puppy pike by his humans. Bishop has plenty of love and affection to give every human in the world. He is an ideal companion for those seeking a furry friend that is both playful, cuddly, sweet, and happy. While Bishop is a young dog, he is already house and crate-trained. He is also very food motivated, which has helped with his training and will continue to make it easy for his future family to train him further. He walks well on a leash and has already been introduced to over 100 other dogs. Not an issue meeting any of them. Bishop will continue to learn as he follows the pack. Proper dog behavior etiquette, learning to read body language, accept and respecting correction accordingly make him a well-balanced dog. Bishop's future home will need to be active but also nurturing. He thrives with leadership guidance, routine, and continued socialization. A home with another active, playful, mature dog to follow. A Kid would be awesome. A fence in the yard is preferred. Bishop is very food and praise-motivated, making training easier and fun. Keeping it simple is his way. Bishop walks well on a leash but still needs effort to keep up the progress. We walk daily. A human to call his who will continue what we started. With continue training positive experiences earning a transformation through nurturing, and positive reinforcement, his already beautiful personality will only continue to thrive. Making him the perfect companion buddy. Adoptahrescue.org Available for foster home or foster to adopt Fosteramutt@gmail.com Bishop is house and crate-trained.
