About Yta
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Sweet Yta Bitty is a gentle soul with a big heart and lots of potential. At about 3.5 years old, this medium-sized, spayed female Lab mix is a petite 38 lbs and exceptionally cute! Yta traveled all the way from The Bahamas after a rescue closure, and she’s been working hard to build trust and adjust to her new life. She’s mastered bathroom and crate manners, making her an easy roommate, but is still shy about leashes and being touched—a patient, loving adopter will be crucial. Yta shines in the company of her dog friends, thriving with canine companionship and finding joy sunbathing in the yard. She can be a little protective of her meals around other dogs, so she should be fed separately, but treats are shared without a fuss. Her calm, quiet demeanor makes her comforting to have around, and she loves to snuggle up in her crate when she’s ready to relax. Families with older, respectful kids and another friendly dog (a must for her confidence and comfort) will be the best fit. Yta will also need a securely fenced yard, as she’s not ready for walks yet but enjoys outdoor time off-leash. Yta is seeking a patient family who will give her time to decompress and slowly blossom. With understanding and love, she promises the bond will be wonderful. If you can offer a safe, supportive space, consider opening your heart to Yta—you’ll be making a life-changing difference! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
