About Hunter
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Hunter! This loving and cuddly Husky mix is about two years old and is on the lookout for his forever home. After being rescued from Rosarito, Mexico, Hunter has thrived in foster care and is absolutely ready for his next chapter. He’s a happy, healthy, and social pup who weighs in around 54 pounds and loves being part of the family fun. Hunter's playful, high-energy personality is paired with a gentle, easygoing spirit. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, making him a perfect companion for just about any kind of home. Whether he's running around outside, chewing on toys, or snuggling on the couch, Hunter brings joy to every moment. Though he thinks he's a lap dog, his love for his people really shines through with every cuddle session. On the training front, Hunter has it all covered—crate-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained, he’s a breeze to have around. He can be left alone without anxiety, but does need to be crated when unattended because chewing is his one mischievous quirk. Hunter will adapt beautifully to active or mellow homes, big families, or households with other furry siblings, as long as love and cuddles are plentiful. They are waiting with paws crossed!
