About Clavamox
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Moxy, a 4-year-old, neutered male Terrier mix who weighs about 40 pounds. After being rescued from a challenging hoarding situation in Tijuana, he’s blossomed in a foster home with the care and support of devoted animal lovers. Despite his difficult past, Moxy’s spirit shines brightly—he delights in playing chase, hide-and-seek, and tug-of-war with his foster dog siblings, as well as having a blast chewing on bones and racing around the house. He’s as affectionate as he is active, loving to cuddle with both people and canine friends, and affectionately described as quite submissive with others. Moxy has made excellent progress in his training, knowing multiple commands and being fully house trained. He’s working on his leash manners and gaining confidence by being around other dogs. Moxy does experience separation anxiety, so his perfect home is with someone who is home most of the time and has at least one dog for companionship. He’s comfortable with cats and children of all ages. Ongoing training and support for his anxiety would help him thrive even more. He’s hoping for a family who’ll return the love and loyalty he so eagerly gives. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
