About Raven

Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Raven—a sweet and energetic 9-month-old blind Doodle mix who’s ready to soar into your heart! Though she can’t see, she more than makes up for it with her playful spirit and zest for life. Raven loves engaging games like hide and seek and enjoys barking out the car window. Her favorite toys are ones that make noise or challenge her with puzzles, which let her sharp mind—and puppy energy—shine through. Crate trained and great at napping in her cozy, covered den, Raven is working on house training and needs gentle guidance to learn basic puppy lessons and leash manners. She’s quick to pick up new routines, especially when there are treats involved! Since she’s teething, she can be a bit mouthy, so positive reinforcement and redirection will help guide her puppy curiosity. Because of her blindness, she appreciates gentle verbal cues before being touched, which helps her feel secure. Raven will do best in a home with kids age 10-12 or older and thrives with doggy playmates who can keep up with her spirited play. Her forever family should make sure to avoid hazards like stairs, pools, or tall furniture to keep her safe, since she doesn’t always realize her limits! She’s received a clean bill of health from the neurologist and is so eager to meet her new family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
