About Artemis
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Artemis is truly a diamond in the ruff! At 6 years old and around 25 lbs, this charming male Shepherd mix has overcome so much in his journey. He was rescued from difficult conditions and has not only survived challenges like a fractured jaw and hip, but has also shown immense strength as a TVT survivor with Vasculitis, which is mostly in remission. Artemis takes his medications like a champ and enjoys his days showing nothing but love. At home, Artemis is the picture of sweetness—he's house and leash trained, though he can't resist sneaking treats when given the chance! He’s low-energy, happiest with a cozy blanket, a sunny spot, and the simple joy of wagging his tail when his favorite people appear. While Artemis finds comfort with smaller dogs and is totally fine with kids, larger dogs can make him anxious. He’s searching for a home where things are calm and relaxed, ideally with a backyard to explore and enjoy sniffy adventures in the sunshine. Hiking might not be on his agenda, but Artemis is always up for a leisurely stroll, enjoying flowers and sunbathing, and even loves quiet moments at the beach. He's an easy travel companion, perfect for those looking to share small adventures with their furry friend. For a $150 adoption fee, you’ll receive a loving companion who is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Artemis is ready to find his forever home—he's sure to bring sweetness and sunshine wherever he goes! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
