Meet Wally Wally is a 1.5 year old Labrador Retriever mix with a soft face, a goofy grin, and a heart that is so ready to belong to someone. He is one of those dogs who wears his happiness on the outside and his sweetness on the inside. The kind who makes you smile without even trying. Wally is crate trained and house trained and truly wants to be a good boy. He loves to play, be silly, and enjoy life, but his favorite thing is being part of a family and feeling included. He gets along great with other dogs and would love a buddy to romp around with, though he would be just as happy being your one and only best friend. There is something very special about Wally. He has that quiet hope in his eyes that says he is ready to be chosen. Ready to curl up at your feet, make you laugh on your hardest days, and love you with his whole heart. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Breed labels are given based on information obtained during intake and/or best guesses based on appearance and/or temperament of the dogs and Take Paws Rescue gives no assurance to the accuracy of these labels. Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as our website, Chewy, Pet Finder, and others. These are in no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed. ***Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!
