About Pal

Pal is a hefty, short-coated American Bulldog/English Bulldog mix with a big personality and a kink in his tail that makes him instantly memorable. He’s seven years old, weighs about 80 lbs, and has seen some ups and downs—adopted and returned three times in Atlanta before finding a safe spot in rescue. Pal is high-spirited, stubborn, and thrives with an owner who knows bulldogs and their quirks. Set boundaries, stay consistent, and he’ll respect you for it. He enjoys the company of people and could do well in a home with teens over 14 who are calm and have experience with large dogs. Pal gets along with large female dogs but chases cats and small dogs, so he needs a home without them. Exploring the yard, getting treats, and joining for car rides (in a crate) are his idea of a good time. He’s housebroken, uses a dog door, and continues to work on obedience, leash manners, and tolerating a crate. Pal is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He’s searching for a grounded, experienced adopter who’s ready to offer permanence. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
