About Ivy
Ivy has striking green eyes and a soft calico coat that catches the light. She’s a loving cat who seeks out head rubs, pets, and plenty of cuddle time. Whether curled up next to her foster mom or sleeping close by, Ivy enjoys company but also knows how to entertain herself. Give her a feather toy, banana catnip kicker, or the beloved lazy pen, and she’ll play to her heart’s content. After years of being a mama, Ivy has retired from motherhood and is finally ready for a life where she’s the priority. She is spayed, healthy, and has learned to trust people thanks to careful fostering. Ivy gets along with other cats and could fit in well with your feline crew, but she’s independent enough to be happy as your only cat, too. What makes Ivy unique is that she tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). This hasn’t slowed her down; she just needs a good diet and to stay indoors to avoid illness. Cats with FIV can live normal lives and can safely live with FIV-negative cats as long as everyone is friendly.
