Part of a litter of 6 from a feral mama cat in foster's neighborhood, sweet Kukui was rescued at 3 weeks old with 4 of her 5 siblings to treat a severe URI. She is a survivor; she survived not only the severe URI that prompted her rescue, but also a second severe near-fatal viral infection before she was 8 weeks old. She is a sweet, curious, affectionate kitten with the softest beautiful black fur. She loves to explore and is very intelligent; she was the first of the litter to figure out how to get out of the zippered playpen - at 4 weeks old! She is VERY affectionate; she loves to be held and to sit on your shoulder or curl up against your side, no matter what you are doing! She loves company and gets along with most other cats/kittens - she is not necessarily "bonded" with her siblings, but would probably do best if adopted with one of them (must NOT be only cat/kitten in the home). *Gets along best with siblings: Kahlua, Kepi, or Koah. All medical has been done. Fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, negative for leukemia and FIV, treated for fleas and worms. Having all this done at a vets on your own would cost at least 2 to 4 times more! Kukui is about 8 months old. Adoption fee $250
