Kahlua came into rescue at three weeks old, fighting off a bad respiratory infection with her siblings after being born to a feral mother in her foster’s neighborhood. Even before she was eight weeks old, she bounced back from another tough viral illness. Through it all, Kahlua stayed incredibly sweet and affectionate. She seeks out people for cuddles, loves being held, and wants to stay where the action is. Her fluffy black-and-white coat is soft and she happily lets you brush it. Kahlua is playful, adventurous, and won’t hesitate to stand up to much bigger siblings if someone pushes her around—she’s got a little spicy streak. She’s not glued to her siblings but truly needs the companionship of another cat or kitten; she should not be the only cat in a home, nor left alone for long stretches.
