About Gia
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Gia, a breathtaking all-black Cane Corso who has recently found safety through rescue. At around 2.5 years old, Gia’s journey is one of quiet strength and resilience. Though her past has left her a bit reserved, she continues to reveal her gentle, calm nature day by day and fills any space with a sense of peace. Gia bonds especially well with women and feels most relaxed in their company. Though she may be shy with men at first, gentle patience allows her to blossom into a loving, trusting companion. Gia doesn't seek the spotlight; rather, she finds happiness simply being close to those she trusts, whether that means quietly relaxing by your feet or offering you reassuring, soulful glances from across the room. After leaving the shelter, Gia is still decompressing and needs a calm, stable environment. She will thrive in a patient, loving home—ideally led by a female or someone well attuned to her sensitivities. If what you want is a low-key, loyal companion who needs some time to fully open her heart, Gia could be the perfect addition to your family. Currently in a foster home with The Buster Foundation, contact us to arrange a meeting with this gentle soul. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
