About Xena
Xena is a 3-year-old Belgian Shepherd/Malinois and Dutch Shepherd mix who weighs about 75 lbs. She’s a total cuddle bug, always looking for affection, but she has the energy and drive typical of her breed—regular exercise and mental stimulation are essential. Xena’s current owner can’t take her along on a move, but says she’s got solid obedience: sit, stay, down, off, guard, shake, and crate, and she’ll wait patiently for her food until you give the cue. She’s house trained, extremely motivated by food and toys, and is great with kids and other dogs (as long as introductions are done in open settings). Xena does get excited and still jumps at times, but some consistency will help her work through it. She’s not crate trained, due to anxiety from shelter experiences, but with patience, she’ll improve. Grooming is a breeze—she’ll let you brush her teeth, trim her nails, and care for her coat without a fuss. She hasn’t been around cats. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
