She’s sharp, alert, and eager to work—her obedience is top-notch, and she quickly picks up commands like heel, sit, place, stay, wait, and more. Chevy does great on leash, especially with a springer collar, and can run several miles with her foster without missing a beat. She’s crate trained for both overnight and daytime breaks, happily taking comfort there when given the command. Her energy is unmistakable—Chevy is fast, powerful, and entirely house-trained. She’ll thrive in a home that channels her drive, ideally with space to run and a variety of jobs or sports like frisbee or dock diving. Food, treats, and toys are all strong motivators, and she’ll bring you anything just for another round of fetch. While she can be strong and sometimes needs reminders on walks or indoors, she’s loving at her core. Chevy will snuggle up when invited and loyally follows her person around the house. Chevy is wonderful with other dogs, currently living with two small ones and showing real patience and gentleness, even letting the little one boss her around.
