About Bitsy

Bitsy is a two-year-old, small, white-and-cream Westie mix with a medium coat. Her early days were rough—she and her sister narrowly escaped euthanasia in a rural shelter before being rescued. Since then, Bitsy has landed with a dedicated foster who has helped her transform from fearful to genuinely sweet and far more trusting. She still has a shy streak but, with patience and care, Bitsy now seeks out love and does well around the other dogs in her foster home. She’s best suited for a home with another confident dog, since having a canine buddy really helps her feel safe and learn from their example. For Bitsy’s security and comfort, a fenced yard is required. She’s fully vetted—spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Available for adoption in the Metro Atlanta area only. If you’re ready to help her continue to blossom, Bitsy’s waiting here in Atlanta. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
