About Duke
Duke is an easygoing, fun-loving dog looking for the perfect family. He’s between 4 and 5 years old and bounced back impressively after being left in tough conditions. Now, Duke thrives in his foster home—he enjoys butt scratches, is crate trained, and fully housebroken, which makes daily life a breeze. He gets along well with other dogs, especially females, and does best with children eight and up, thanks to his gentle, playful style. Duke loves yard time—he’ll do his signature army crawl through the grass and roll around, always up for a good laugh. Though he’s mostly calm, his excitement comes out at mealtimes and during playful spurts. He’d be happiest in a home with a fenced yard and people who welcome his affectionate, low-key presence. Belly rubs, time with family, and a comfy spot to relax are Duke’s idea of a perfect day. Give Duke the second chance he deserves. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
