About George Survival To

Georgie’s story started in the tough parts of South Atlanta, where he managed to find a kind stranger and a little hope. He’s about 2 years old and has already survived circumstances no dog should face—tied out, never fed enough, and likely enduring neglect from the environment and people around him. Despite that rough beginning, Georgie is remarkably sweet. He has a gentle demeanor and an easygoing, calm attitude that puts everyone at ease. This dog gets along with every animal he meets—dogs, even those at the vet, and cats, including outdoor ones. He warms up to strangers and loves affection; he rests his heavy head in your lap and looks at you like you’re the best thing he’s seen all day. His foster says he rarely barks, isn’t food aggressive, and takes treats carefully from your hand. At night, he’s finally learned to sleep safely on a soft dog bed. Medically, Georgie has some recovery left. He’s heartworm positive, but the case is mild and the treatment’s begun. He’s fully vaccinated. Neutering is scheduled soon. After everything he’s endured, he needs a quiet home to decompress, without too much chaos or activity. Georgie really stands out as one of those rare, grateful dogs who just wants to love and be loved. If you have space in your heart for a dog that’s survived the hard stuff, Georgie is waiting. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
