About Kit
Kit was found as a stray in Cedar Falls, Iowa and brought into a foster home for safety and care. She’s a dilute calico with a short coat, and at around 2 years old, she’s gradually learning to trust people. Kit remains skittish, so she’ll need an adopter with abundant patience who’s willing to go at her pace. She gets along with other cats and could be adopted together with her mother Boo, but she’ll also do well on her own. Kit is spayed, vaccinated, and currently lives in a foster home. Only indoor homes will be considered for adoption, and all applicants should expect a background check prior to meeting her. Kit’s resilience is matched by her need for a calm, loving environment where she can continue to blossom. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Kit does not require outdoor space, and like most domestic cats, she should be kept indoors for her safety and wellbeing.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
