About Harry
Click apply to start the adoption process. Harry once roamed the streets of Denver, Iowa, as a stray before a kind person rescued him and offered him a foster home. Now, Harry is seeking a forever home where he can flourish. After spending his first ten weeks feral, he can be initially skittish and scared, but once he feels safe, he transforms into a devoted companion who loves belly rubs and ear scratches. Interactive toys like wands, ball tracks, and crinkle balls are his favorites, and he enjoys relaxing on a cat tree to gaze outside. Harry is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV tests. Alongside his gentle personality, he is fully litterbox trained and gets along well with other cats in his foster home. To help Harry thrive, he must be adopted together with a brother or placed in a home where another young cat is present—he cannot be an only cat. His gentle nature makes him best suited for a quiet household without young children, as loud environments may make him nervous at first. With patience, Harry will reward you with deep loyalty and affection. Adopters will need to give him a gradual introduction to his new home, allowing time and a quiet space to settle in so he can start bonding and trusting at his own pace. In return, he will become a loving friend for life. All adoptions are handled through foster homes at Waverly Pet Rescue, and all cats are adopted as indoor-only pets. Harry's adoption fee is $95, which helps cover medical costs and support future rescues. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
