About Monica
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Monica was found as a stray in NE Iowa and has come full circle in search of a loving forever home. Adopted years ago, she was well cared for and is now around 15-1/2 years old as of January 2025. Monica is already spayed, current on her vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She has always been diligent about using her litter box and does not have any health issues—her big, always-dilated pupils are just part of her charm and don't affect her vision. This friendly, cuddly, and slightly overweight senior would love to be your lap companion during the day and snooze by your side. While her hearing is diminished and she moves a bit slower nowadays, she still enjoys the simple pleasures of life and thrives on affection. Monica would do best as the only cat, and she's ready to bring calm and comfort to your home in her golden years. Monica is being cared for in a foster home through Waverly Pet Rescue. Please note, adoptions are only to indoor homes and require an application before a meet-and-greet. Give this sweet girl the loving home she deserves! Start your journey together! Apply now.
