About Hazel
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Hazel! Hazel arrived at the rescue as a small puppy facing health challenges and transitioned straight into foster care. She is incontinent and needs to go out for potty breaks more frequently than most dogs—diapers aren’t an option for her, as they can cause her discomfort. Hazel's back end has been affected by poor breeding, resulting in some deformed discs in her spine and hips that don’t properly sit in their sockets. Despite these obstacles, Hazel is able to walk, though she sometimes drags her legs. This resilient English Bulldog absolutely loves children, but, due to some behavioral issues in the home, she is not recommended to live with young kids. Hazel’s foster mom can discuss her behaviors in more detail with interested adopters. Hazel cannot live with other dogs indoors, as she has food aggression and may react poorly, but she can be social around dogs as long as there’s no food present. She also gets along with some farm animals and enjoys spending time with goat friends during rescue events. Currently about 2.5 years old, Hazel is looking for an understanding family that will support her unique needs. Pa Kennel License #8956 Your new best friend is just one click away.
