We have no idea how she ended up there, but her body shows evidence of unkind treatment - sores and wounds on her body, and limbs that don't look or function the way they should. We are so happy to have her safe in foster care so we can find her the best forever family! Meatball is estimated to be 1 year old, weighs 26 lbs currently but is working on adding a few pounds, and is a bully mix. As is typical with her breed, she has some ongoing orthopedic concerns her future family will need to be prepared for. She takes daily join supplements and may require an FHO surgery in the future. Behavior wise, Meatball is a typical bully combo of fun, energy, spunk, and love! She has lived with dogs and cats both and done well with everyone. Her fosters have begun basic training with her and she's picking up quickly, learning "leave it," "sit," and the daily routine of the home. Meatball loves her crate, sometimes too much, so the door is left closed when she is not inside it. She sleeps in the crate and spends time there during the day and is quiet and easy!
