Meet Gordon, or as he affectionately likes to be called, Gordy! This wonderful guy has a personality that truly shines. He’s not one for quiet barks; instead, he expresses himself with some seriously loud enthusiasm, making sure the whole neighborhood knows he’s around. Gordon's journey has not been easy. Found at ACCT Philly, he faced tough times, including health struggles that led to him being on the euthanasia list. Fortunately, Zoe's House saw the potential in him, and with some veterinary care, he has made a remarkable recovery. At about 8 years old, Gordon wants nothing more than a family that will take him on walks and enjoy his playful spirit. He loves to cuddle but has no understanding of personal space—if you sit down, prepare for him to sit right on top of you! He would thrive in a home with a friendly, medium to large-sized dog who can match his playful energy. While he’s still working on his dog manners, he’s full of affection and is eager to please. Gordon has some bully-breed characteristics, including skin and ear sensitivities, requiring a little extra care with eye drops, which he takes like a champ. Most importantly, he flourishes with a confident leader to help guide him.
