About Pinky

Pinky is a sharp, affectionate Mini Aussie Pom mix who's ready for an experienced handler. She has a clear herding streak—she bonds hard with her person, is protective of her space, and really thrives on clear rules and structure. She’s e-collar and prong collar trained, knows all her basic commands, and is excellent in her crate. Routine is very much her thing, and she’s house trained with no accidents in her current foster home. She gets along with other dogs of all sizes and can live with cats experienced with dogs. She sometimes chases cats if they run, but listens well when stopped. She lived with kids ages 8 and up but, as a herding breed, would do best without young kids in the household. Pinky prefers people to take introductions slow, especially with new men, warming up after some time and treats. She loves walks, car rides, baby pool fun, and any job that involves mental stimulation or a good food puzzle. A fenced yard is the dream, and she’d love someone who can keep her busy both physically and mentally. Her foster will train adopters on her routines and tools, since she’s thrived with these boundaries. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
