About Sophie Rose
Click apply to start the adoption process. Sophie Rose is a 6-year-old Plott Hound mix with a beautiful brindle coat who was rescued from a rural area in Texas. She was taken in by a kind couple who saved dozens of dogs facing starvation, and now Sophie is looking for a forever home through SNARR Northeast. She is currently fostered in Texas, but transport will be arranged once she’s adopted. Sophie is an outgoing, loving girl who is always ready to greet you with a wagging tail. She has excellent house manners and is fully house trained, making her a joy to have at home. Sophie gets along with all dogs but should be fed separately if you have another dog, as she prefers to protect her food bowl. She loves to snuggle and enjoys all kinds of affection—from butt and head scratches to belly rubs. Sophie thrives around calm children and is just as happy being your only companion. She is eager to please and open to new experiences. A few quirks make her even more lovable: Sophie is fearful of storms but calms down quickly if she’s snuggled next to her person, and she will alert you to strangers in your yard. Sophie’s adopters must be 25 or older. She’s a happy, easygoing girl who only wants a warm family to call her own. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
