About Tony

Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Tony, a 1-year-old, 56-pound Plott Hound mix with sweet, brindle spots and an irresistibly waggy tail. His warm personality and winning "please love me forever" eyes make him the complete companion package. Tony is a social butterfly, getting along with men, women, kids, other dogs, and even cats, thanks to his easygoing nature. Tony is house-trained, crate-trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, and consistently on heartworm prevention. He’ll gladly play and zoom around when the mood strikes, but is equally happy to settle in as your go-to cuddle buddy for a cozy night on the couch. Squeaky toys, playful pup pals, and silly solo zoomies are his favorite ways to pass the time. Fetch is still a work in progress, but Tony more than makes up for it with his gentle demeanor and affectionate heart. He’s also a car ride pro, curling up quietly in the back and enjoying the journey. On morning walks, Tony gets excited, so his leash skills are still charmingly under construction—expect a little zig-zagging along the way. If you’re searching for a goofy, affectionate, and dog-cat-kid-friendly pal who wants nothing more than to be your ride-or-die couch buddy, Tony is ready for his forever home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
