He loves stretching those long legs in the backyard, but oh, is he happiest lounging on the couch, keeping a watchful eye on his surroundings while napping next to his favorite human. Max is a true gentleman, filled with wisdom and a dash of mischief. Imagine him sneakily stealing a snack off the counter when you’re not looking. Can you blame him? That sweet face and soulful eyes make it impossible to stay mad at him for long! This resilient boy has endured quite a bit in his life. He suffered a chemical burn down his spine from a previous owner, but thanks to his devoted foster family, his scar is healing beautifully and his hair is growing back like a lion’s mane. Despite his painful past, Max remains loving and loyal. Now, he’s all set to find a safe forever home where he can truly relax and experience all the love he deserves! Max is looking for a home where he can reign as the king — no men, please! He feels safest with women only and would thrive as the only pet so he can soak up all the attention and affection he’s missed for far too long.
