About Joey Dion
Joey Dion doesn’t bother with pretense—he’s dependable, sharp, and has the kind of presence you notice. Just over 2 years old, he’s a tall and lean red Doberman. Joey has two sides: at home or with his pack, he’s vocal, assertive, and likes to boss others around for attention. Drop him into new situations, though, and he quiets right down, preferring to observe and figure things out. No barking or growling—just a steady stare and measured caution until he feels safe. He’s all Doberman: energetic, loves to run and sniff outside, and pretty rough-and-tumble when playing, especially with smaller or other male dogs—so those dynamics need some management. After a rough start, Joey Dion’s made real strides in foster care and does best with owners who will keep up his socialization and let him settle in at his own speed. He’s crate trained, clean in the house, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Joey Dion is currently fostered in Texas and can be transported to approved adopters in the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, or select New England states. Ready to fall in love?
