Meet Rosie, a delightful bundle of joy who is one of NINE from an unexpected litter of Australian Shepherd/Chihuahua mix puppies. 🌟 Life threw her a curveball when her owner was hospitalized, and she sadly won't be coming home. But don't worry! Rosie is on the mend in a caring foster home, and she’s ready to blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be! 💖 Rosie has had quite the journey, but she’s making amazing strides! This little one is currently mastering the art of housebreaking. 🏠 With an attentive human, she can avoid accidents in the home, which is fantastic for her. She's also figuring out how to walk on a leash, typically staying close to her foster but will dash back to her safe spot if things get too loud. She's learning to navigate her world, one little paw at a time! Dinner time is a quiet affair for Rosie, as she enjoys her cozy crate with a tasty chew treat. At night, she snuggles up in her crate from 10:30 PM to 6 AM, proving that even the smallest pups need a good night's sleep! You know what they say, happy pup, happy life! 💤 During the day, she gets to hang out in her kitchen kingdom, with her crate open and waiting for her return. Rosie's diet is as special as she is! She's on a puppy food regimen that includes 1/3 cup Pro Plan Puppy kibble, a sprinkle of pureed pumpkin, and a touch of warming boiled chicken—three times a day. 🍽️ And let me tell you, she devours her meals like they've been sprinkled with magic! When it comes to playtime, this little princess is still figuring it out. She picks up stuffed toys for comfort rather than fun, but her heart swells with joy when she engages with her snuffle mat or lick mat. Now, that’s a party for her taste buds! Socialization is still a work in progress for Rosie. New sounds and faces can send her scurrying for cover. When visiting the vet, she was understandably nervous, but who wouldn’t be? 🤔 Yet, our Rosie is also a bundle of fun! She zips around with adorable little zoomies that transform her into a furry blur! On tranquil afternoons, she morphs into the ultimate cuddle bug, snuggling into her human's neck, bringing warmth and love to the room! 🥰 Although Rosie isn’t spayed yet, she’s receiving all her necessary vaccinations and health treatments, including for worms, skin infections, and ear infections.
