About Ozzie
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Ozzie, the lovable Corgi mix with adorable short, bowed legs who was rescued from a Central Valley shelter. Ozzie's charm and friendly nature shine, as he gets along wonderfully with people of all ages, including young children, and enjoys the company of other dogs. He has even been tested with cats and paid no attention to them, making him a well-rounded companion for many types of homes. Ozzie is very loyal and will happily follow you around, even off leash. He is crate trained, doggie door trained, and fully house trained. With a low to medium energy level, Ozzie loves lounging in the sun or playfully interacting with other dogs, and he would also make a sweetheart therapy dog. Currently, Ozzie is being fostered in a home with young kids and other dogs, where he thrives as part of the family. Ozzie does have a known liver shunt condition that is managed through a prescribed diet, and since starting this regimen, he has not experienced further seizures. He has been thoroughly vet-checked, is neutered, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Potential adopters should be financially prepared to support his ongoing veterinary and possible surgical needs, as helping Ozzie receive the care he requires is important for his future health and happiness. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
