Maxima is a large, adult pit bull terrier/mixed breed with a striking white, cream, and black coat. She is a spayed female, fully house-trained, and her vaccinations are current. Maxima is currently living in Grass Valley, CA. At around 6 years and 2 months old, she has the seasoned energy and affection of a mature dog. While she doesn’t get along with other dogs or cats, Maxima thrives as the only pet in a loving home and has a special fondness for her people.

About Maxima

Maxima is a sweet and lively girl who adores being close to her people. She’s house-trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Playful energy comes out with every tug-of-war session and she’s happiest tossing her toys around. She loves giving kisses, going on long walks (though she pulls a little and does best with a prong collar), and heads out for car rides with gusto. In the car, Maxima can get reactive when she spots other dogs, so she’ll need calm corrections and a steady hand. Maxima must be the only dog in her home — she isn’t comfortable around other dogs and can be very reactive toward them. She doesn’t get along with cats either. Enthusiastic and eager to please, Maxima would benefit greatly from ongoing behavioral training to channel her energy and build her confidence. She also has allergies, so she’ll need daily medication and a steady diet of Fromm dog food to keep her healthy. Born March 21, Maxima is an Aries, which adds to her bold personality and zest for new adventures. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
