Meet Bugsy, a young female American Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing just under 40 lbs. This sweet girl is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. Bugsy's journey has been tough; she was abandoned in Condon Park, and her past has contributed to some reactivity. However, she’s incredibly smart and eager to please, showing great potential for improvement with the right guidance. Bugsy thrives at home with her family and is house trained, place trained, and crate trained. While she does experience some separation anxiety, she’s improving with time. On walks, she tends to react defensively to other dogs and people, but she does well with familiar children and her family. Although introducing her to new faces can be stressful, she has had positive interactions with kids and dogs she's played with. Bugsy needs a caring home where someone can spend time with her, ideally someone with experience in handling reactive dogs.
