Meet Tchaikovsky—Chai for short. This scrappy little survivor landed in rescue at a mere 7.5 lbs and promptly faced parvo, coccidia, and a tricky chicken allergy. He took it all in stride, put his foster and himself through an extended diarrhea battle, and still managed to double his weight to about 15 lbs after just a few weeks. Parvo could not hold him back; stubborn as ever, Chai is now healthy and eager for his next adventure. He's about 10 weeks old (as of August 1) and already showing off a sharp, curious mind. His foster says he kept her plenty busy during quarantine, always figuring out some new way to keep things interesting. Now that summer’s mostly behind him, Chai is hoping to make up for lost playtime with an active family and at least one other adult dog.
