About Sanrio

Meet Sanrio. Sanrio is a striking, resilient American Staffordshire Terrier/Shepherd mix who’s finally getting his shot at the life he deserves. He spent nearly 300 days in a shelter, overlooked far too long and ended up on DeKalb's urgent list. Fortunately, Braveheart Bulliez Rescue stepped in just in time, and Sanrio hasn't looked back since. This smart, eager boy needed time to decompress after so long in a stressful environment. With the structure and support he's found in rescue, Sanrio has been learning fast—showing the friendly, quick-to-learn side that was hidden in the shelter. He’s now looking for a committed forever home that values consistency, guidance, and a lot of love. Sanrio will thrive with someone patient, especially as he transitions and continues to gain confidence. He’s working hard on his training and is motivated to please. Sanrio gets along well with other dogs and is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. If you want a dog who's seen some tough breaks but never gave up, Sanrio could be your perfect match. He’s waiting for someone to be just as loyal to him as he is to them. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
