About Twix
Twix is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who greets every day with gratitude and enthusiasm. At around 5 years and 9 months old, Twix weighs in at a robust 72 pounds and loves nothing more than soaking up attention, whether it’s belly rubs, brushing, or tagging along on walks and car rides. He’s big on treats and enjoys showing off his playful, affectionate nature. Twix thrives in a home where people are present and willing to take him on outdoor adventures. He prefers canine friends who are close to his size for safe play and isn’t ready for apartment life—he needs a spacious fenced yard to really stretch his legs. Potty training is nearly mastered but consistent guidance and a few more treats will help close the loop. A comfort harness is a must since he’s powerful and sometimes eager on leash. He’s open to meeting kids and cats, though he hasn’t lived with them yet, and does well with dogs his own size. Twix’s adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and heartworm testing. Potential adopters must visit in person and are expected to return him if things don’t work out, as his rescue is firmly committed to his well-being. Born August 16, he’s a Leo, known for charm and warmth. Twix is ready to find a family who will shower him with as much love as he gives. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
