About Franklin
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Franklin! This handsome boy came to the rescue as a stray and is estimated to be around 2 years old. Franklin has been feeling a bit anxious in the shelter environment, but outdoor time has become a real comfort and is helping him adjust. The caring staff are actively working on his leash skills and basic commands, and he is showing fantastic progress in training. Franklin is house trained and respectful of his toys and bedding, never being destructive in his kennel. As a young, energetic dog, he'll benefit from ongoing training and consistent routines once settled into a new home to ensure a smooth transition and set him up for success. Franklin is curious about the other dogs he meets and, with proper introductions, may be able to live with another dog. Although his exact history with children is unknown, his high energy might be a bit overwhelming for small kids. This could be the start of something paw-some.
