JR is a 3-year-old neutered male Lab/Pit mix who came to Vermont from an overcrowded shelter in Puerto Rico after being abandoned as a puppy. He’s a timid, gentle soul with a sweet nature and does especially well with other dogs. JR would really benefit from a confident canine companion to help guide him and show him the ropes. He tends to be shy with new people at first, but warms up with patience, treats, and a soft approach. JR is crate trained, seems to be house trained, and is still working on his manners.
