About Cyrus
Cyrus has a real story behind him—a dog saved just in time, who fought back from near starvation and bounced around until landing safely in the care of people who truly want the best for him. His journey has been rocky, with multiple handoffs, an adopter who broke rescue rules, and even a wild episode involving a failed jail break (yes, really) all for his sake. Despite all that, Cyrus has come out the other side resilient and loving. He’s been cared for and nursed back to health, and he’s now ready to find his real, permanent home. Cyrus thrives with other dogs and does great in a playgroup, but a cat-free home is best, since he’s likely forgotten how to play nicely with them. He’s kennel trained, neutered, and current on vaccinations. At two years old, Cyrus is healthy, active, and ready to settle in with a family that’s prepared for the commitment. A securely fenced yard is a must. His adoption fee is fully sponsored, and meet-and-greets will take place in Centralia/Rochester. If you’re patient, responsible, and looking for a loyal companion, Cyrus could be the dog for you. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
