Rex
AvailableRex is a medium-sized, young neutered male Doberman/Mixed Breed with a brown and tan coat. He is currently house trained and vaccinated, and he’s in Oakville, WA. With an age of just over a year old, Rex has already shown a talent for learning new commands and adapting quickly.
About Rex
Rex is currently enrolled in the Freedom Tails program, working through a rigorous 12-week training aimed at earning his AKC K9 Good Citizen or Puppy S.T.A.R. certificate. While Rex is not adoptable until graduation, meet-and-greets are encouraged during his training. He’s a 9-10 month old Doberman mix—brimming with energy and sharp intelligence. Rex gets along with nearly everyone he meets and is always eager for play, especially with other dogs. He’s mastered several basic cues already, including sit, down, and shake, and happily settles into his kennel when it’s time to relax. True to his breed, he loves chewing but focuses his energy on the toys you provide. Rex doesn’t guard his food or toys and allows handling of his ears, paws, and mouth without fuss. He’s friendly to strangers, although he does have a tendency to jump when excited. Simply put, Rex is bright, trainable, and ready to grow with the right adopter once he finishes training.
