About Harley

Harley is a 5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier who’s spent far too much time cooped up and is finally looking for the real companionship she deserves. Life has kept her person away too long, so Harley’s mostly lived crated—missing out on the play, affection, and interaction she’s so clearly craving. A volunteer comes by now and then, but it’s not enough for a dog with her loving temperament and sharp mind. At about 65 pounds, Harley’s a classic 'velcro dog'—follow her person everywhere and always looking to connect. Her special move: standing tall on her back legs for a big bear hug. She has full-on playful bursts (her “zoomies” are hilarious) and settles down easily for a quiet snuggle on the couch. Harley’s rough-and-tumble play style doesn’t mesh with most animals, so she needs to be the only pet at home. Harley’s best fit is with someone searching for a loyal, affectionate shadow who makes every mundane moment a little better. She’s spayed, fully vetted, fully house trained and crate trained, and adapts well to extended stays crated if you need—but don’t leave her there unless you have to. She’s eager for a semi-active owner, older kids who won’t get overwhelmed by her excitement, and plenty of space or walks on a long lead. She’s smart, loving, and just waiting for someone to show her what a good dog’s life is supposed to feel like. Your next best friend might just be Harley. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
