About Luna
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Luna is a truly special girl who has spent several years at the shelter since she was surrendered due to circumstances beyond her former owner’s control. She needs a home where patience and understanding are at the forefront, as she isn’t comfortable with strangers, other dogs, or cats, which has made her search for a family more challenging. Luna thrives with gentle people willing to give her the time she needs to adjust and blossom in her own unique way. She is pee pad trained and enjoys spending time outside in the yard, and while she walks nicely on a leash, she would love a securely fenced yard to explore at her own pace. Luna is a charming blend—she has the tail-free, sturdy body of a corgi, the sweet face of a Pekingese, and the personality tenacity of a chihuahua. Volunteers adore her for her affectionate nature once she trusts you and her love of curling up for couch snuggles. Born on March 31, Luna is an Aries, known for her spirited and bold heart—traits that truly shine once she feels safe. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
