Minnie was an owner surrender and was Heartworm Positive. She has gone through Heartworm Treatment and is doing well. She will do best as the only dog and is slow to warm up to strangers. Even though her heartworm treatment is complete, she will still need to stay calm for a few months and then have a heartworm test to confirm her negative status. Minnie is about 10 years old, is between 20-25 lbs, loves short leash walks followed by hours of sitting on the couch and getting belly rubs. She may be slow to warm up but she is totally worth the effort.
